Auto
Responses -- Reacting to Subscriber Activity
eNewsletter Pro
version 5 and higher supports sending specific
newsletters in response to specific subscriber
activities. The following activities can
trigger an auto response:
- Clicking any
link in a newsletter
- Clicking a
specific link in a newsletter
- Updating a
subscriber's profile
- Viewing a
newsletter
- Joining a
specific newsletter list
To setup
an Auto Response item....
- Select
Newsletters--Auto Responses--Add New

- Now
select the activity that you want to trigger
the auto response. If you want to base
the auto response on clicking a specific link,
then enter the complete link as it was entered
in the newsletter. Be sure to enter the
link exactly as it was entered in the
newsletter.

- Choose
how soon after the activity the email message
should be sent and then choose which email
will be sent.
Now that
you have defined an auto response, you can view
items that are both pending and items that have
been sent to specific subscribers. To do
so, choose Subscribers--Auto Responses and then
choose either Pending Delivery or Items
Delivered.
