| Individual Messages are not being
Delivered I have
unchecked the option to "Send individual messages using alternative SMTP
mail server" and now individual messages are not being delivered.
In order for eNewsletter Pro to deliver
email messages from an ASP script, you must give the anonymous user WRITE
permissions on the Pickup folder. To do this,
- From My Computer, find the folder
where you installed the eNewsletter Pro Mail Engine. The default
folder is C:\Program Files\eNewsletterPro\
- Find the \Pickup\ folder.
- Right mouse click on the Pickup folder
and select Properties. Now select Security.
- If you do not see an Internet Guest
Account (IUSER account), click Add and add your computers Internet Guest
account. Typically the accounts is called IUSER_machinename where
machinename is the name of the computer.
- Once the user has been added, select
the user and give them WRITE permissions in addition to the standard
permissions. Click OK when finished.
Note: If using the ASP.NET
version, you must repeat steps 4 and 5 for the ASPNET user. |
