How do I set WRITE
permissions on the
folder where images
are uploaded?
On the server, open
Windows Explorer and
find the web folder
where eNewsletter
Pro is installed.
Right Click on the
uploadedimages
folder and select
Properties.
Choose the
'Security'
tab form the dialog
box window.
Click the Advanced
button then Uncheck
'Allow
inheritable
permissions from
parent to propagate
to this object',
from the bottom of
the dialog box.
Click OK.
Find the ASP.NET
user and give them WRITE permissions in addition to
the default permissions.
Now, find the
account called USERS and give them WRITE permissions
as well.
Repeat the same
procedure for the "DatabaseUploads"
folder by repeating
steps 1-6.
Complete the
import security setting below.
Important Security Note: We recommend that you turn
off Execute permissions on both the UploadedImages
and DatabaseUploads folder. To do so,
find the /UploadedImages/ folder in Internet Information
Services Manager (IIS) and change the folder and set
Execute Permissions to None as shown below.
Repeat the process for the DatabaseUploads
